Women Can Fight Diseases Well Compared To Men

So the mystery why women live longer compared to men is revealed. A research by Ghent University in Belgium has stated that women are genetically programmed in a better way to fight against diseases compared to men. And the answer lies in the extra X chomosome that women have.

The lead researcher, Dr Claude Libert said, "Statistics show that in humans, as with other mammals, females live longer than males and are more able to fight off shock episodes from sepsis, infection or trauma. We believe this is due to the Xchromosome, which in humans contains 10% of all microRNAs detected so far in the genetic code."

So this is good for women. But there is a down side too. According to Dr Eleanor Fish, a professor of immunobiology at the University of Toronto, if a woman has already been affected by any infection, then "it can result in a more severe inflammatory response. This means women are more likely to develop autoimmune diseases and they may suffer flu more badly than men."

So all women should take care they don't get any infection as far as possible.

Controversially Yours - Shoaib Akhtar

Now Shoaib Akhtar says that SRK looked after him as his elder brother. Read here. He was here in India for the release of his book "Controversially Yours" and since then he has been in the news for something or the other. First he said that the great Sachin Tendulkar was afraid of his bowling.

And now he is saying that SRK (Shahrukh Khan) - the owner of IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders looked after him as his elder brother. Akhtar had alleged earlier that he was cheated by Lalit Modi and SRK.

In his book, he also mentions that ball tampering should be legalized in cricket as everyone does it. Even he did it.

He also commented about Harbhajan Singh saying. "Yeah we abuse and hit each other in the dressing room, but look at Bhajji. He didn’t hesitate to slap on the field itself, he laughed."

He also speaks about his controversial encounter with Mathew Hayden.

Anyways great way to sell your book.
